Upcoming Events & Volunteer Opportunities

PhillyRising will be hosting its 2nd annual conference to promote innovation and community engagement. The purpose of this conference is to create a platform in which community members can communicate directly with representatives from several city agencies/departments to address their concerns, ask questions, and submit service requests. Representatives from each agency/department will be present with their computers which will enable them to instantly input and submit work requests through their systems. Community members will leave the conference knowing that their voices have been heard and concerns noted. In addition to this focus of the conference community members will have the opportunity to participate in Career Boot Camp and Neighborhood Liaison Training sessions. Members of the North Central community who have completed the eight week Citizens’ Engagement Academy course will be recognized during the conference.
