Services Offered

  • Town Watch Development: Organizing, recruiting, and training of adult and junior town watch groups in all police districts.
  • Training: Training Certification for new town watch groups and existing members of established groups.
  • C.E.R.T. (Citizens Emergency Response Training) Training: Teaching groups what to do in case of a disaster.
  • Non Violent Intervention: Staff Development
  • Networking: Building partnerships with city agencies, law enforcement agencies and citizens groups.
  • Recruiting: Helping to find new members and identifying new areas for town watch group development
  • Safe Corridors: Training and certifying volunteers to provide a safe corridor for students traveling to and from school.
  • Community Support: Assisting with the development of neighborhood partnerships
  • Neighborhood Assessments: Working with leaders to facilitate meetings
  • School Intervention: Crisis Response, Conflict Resolution, Home Visits
